| The museum is housed in the granary of S. Pietro, an old barn belonging to the friars of Abbadia S. Salvatore, on Monte Amiata. The exposition is made up of a private collection which includes tools and memories of the borough of Latera. Inside the structure, you can admire the tools used by the peasants to work in the fields and those of the craftsmen of the shops of the town, along with objects related to the religious and social life and children games. In a special section tourists can discover tales, proverbs and songs, which are narrated by the protagonists themselves, through audio-visual media and photographs. The tour of the museum ends with the visit to the attic, where the memories of the emigrants are preserved . Outside the building an area has been devoted to the orchard and vineyard traditions and at a 50 m distance you can find the didactic and visual-anthropology laboratory.
